the algebra of smell
jer had this theory on smells, that all smells could be described with an equation of other smells. the best example is chinese food = -chap stick. this can be proven (says jer) by holding chap stick in front of your nose for a while, then pulling it away. you should smell chinese food, the same way you can stare at a negative, look at a blank wall and see a positive residual image.
